Infinite loop spaces and spectra
In this expository talk I will briefly discuss how to see spectra as intrinsically algebraic objects and how they relate to algebraic structures in spaces. More precisely I will highlight the connection between infinity loop spaces, E_n-algebras and spectra as well as what kind of algebraic tools we have at our disposition when dealing with spectra.
